Florida Tampa International Airport is the third largest airport, handling more than 19 million passengers in 2007, an increase of 1.5% compared to 2006. There is 10 km west of the Central Business District of Tampa in Hillsborough County with Highway 60 at the airport entrance east of the beginning of the Courtney Campbell Causeway and south of the end of Veterans Expressway. The airport is well signposted and is located west of West Shore Boulevard, on I-275 exit 39 or on Spruce Street or Columbus Drive westbound from Tampa.

The terminal at Tampa International Airport was the first of its kind in the world with four air-side satellite with the main building by an automated people mover (APM).
