Enterprise Rent-A-Car Co., St. Louis, Mo., plans to make its carrental in Spokane Valley and started selling cars at its new location rental.

Companies that currently occupies 1800-square of office space at 7406 E. Sprague, has a 5,000-square-foot building at 7501 E. Sprague, and expects to see it this fall, company officials say. The company is smaller renovations to the building, and sell and rent cars to be awarded two lots.

Jonathan Mullen, a Renton, Washington Group Car Sales Manager for companies, says the planned sale Spokane Valley operation is the first in Eastern Washington. Companies, which in 1967 began selling cars and letting them have three-car sales in many Western Washington, he says.

Bill Gardner, a Regional Vice President Enterprise is based here, says the company decided its Spokane Valley Auto Rental, more space for the planned joint rental and sales operation. Company currently employs six people at its Spokane Valley office, and probably will hire three to six more in the coming years, depending on the growth, says Gardner. The company expects increased demand on an office recently opened in Anchorage, Alaska, and need to adjust the size of its staff since its Spokane employees provide services to the facility, he says.

Also has rental facilities in Spokane International Airport, 3 W. Third, near the city center, 1426 E. Francis in northeast Spokane, 21502 E. Mission Lane in Liberty Lake, and 408 W. Haycroft in Coeur d'Alene.
