One of the great things about Texas camping is that you pretty much any time of the year. Since winter is usually quite mild, allowing you to log in a couple of camping trips, while your friends are in the north hunkered down trying to stay warm. Once again this year to more than 70 state parks, the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department is lifting the fishing license for families as part of their Family Fishing Celebration. The promotion will continue until August 31, 2007. You were holding a similar promotion the last few years, and its really good for families. So on your next camping trip, be sure and take your gear, and enjoy some fun times fishing with your children.
